The Future of My City is an intercultural student project with the aim to promote the cultural exchange of students from the Ruhr Area in Germany and the Rust Belt Area in the United States. The student groups and experts jointly work on economic, urban and social ideas to foster a future-oriented development of their city.

Ultimately, the two most innovative projects will be awarded with a trip to the counter region in order to meet the other teams and experts, exchange ideas and get to know the Ruhr Area in Germany or the region of the American Rust Belt.
